Lead Time
What is the order lead time?
The lead time varies by order volume and season. Below are some quick references:
- November 1st: deadline for all orders that are to arrive between Thanksgiving-tim and Christmas. Deadline to receive a volume discount on all orders.
- 4-5 weeks: lead time for ordering a new custom chocolate mold and branded chocolates.
- 1-2 business days: lead time for standard orders of 1-5 products.
- 2-3 weeks: lead time for event favors or bulk orders.
- Call us at 216-226-4888 for rush orders.
Volume Discounts
How do volume discounts work?
Volume discounts are available to all standard orders of chocolate with a product subtotal of $500 or more.
They are available for orders placed online between January 1st and November 1st.
Custom orders, orders not placed online , chocolate molds, branded packaging, Chokolatine products, shipping rates and orders placed between November 2nd and December 31st do not qualify for discounts.
- Spend $500 - $1000 and receive 5% off
- Spend $1001 - $2,500 and receive 10% off

What custom options do you offer, such as branded chocolates or packaging?
Our most popular seller is a custom chocolate bar with your company's message or logo!
Custom chocolate mold quick facts:
- One-time set-up fee starting at $225
- 3-6 week lead time
- Multiple shapes and sizes available
- No minimum chocolate order required
- Branded chocolates can be packaged individually for trade shows and event favors, or can be inserted into various gift assortment boxes found on page 4 of our Business Gift Guide.

Custom packaging quick facts:
- You may provide your own branded ribbon for us to tie on your boxes or chocolate bars
- For custom branded chocolate gift boxes, contact us at info@sweetdesigns.com. Please note that there are large minimums (1,000 units and higher) and 6-12 month lead times for custom branded chocolate boxes.
- Request your company colors when you order, and we will coordinate our box and ribbon colors to match your branding!
- When we ship your chocolates, we include a complimentary gift message inside the package!
- When you place your order online , we will ask your gift message and signature line and print it on an enclosure card.
- Bulk shipping lists require a standardized gift message for all recipients.
- Prefer to provide your own greeting cards? Mail in or drop off your own cards within 1 week of placing your order and we will include them in your packages! (Please provide standardized messages for bulk address lists).

Can you ship my gifts to multiple addresses? What is the shipping charge?
Yes! We make it easy to submit your gift recipient list.
Simply download our Multi-Address Shipping Form here and fill it out before placing your final order online. When you fill out this form, you automatically qualify for bulk discounted shipping rates.
Bulk discounted shipping rates:
- Orders entered into our Multi-Address Shipping Form qualify for the following rates to anywhere in the continental United States
- Ice packs and insulated packaging are provided at no additional cost to warm-climate states
